Family & home template

A family organizer with AI: Oskar helps plan the week

Birthday party, meal plan, doctor’s appointment, shopping – in a family a lot rests on a few heads. The “Family & home” template gives you a shared board, and Oskar, the AI teammate for home and family, turns wishes into a doable weekly plan.

The family board

The template creates a project with four lanes:

  • Ideas & wishes – everyone collects what’s coming up: “Meal plan for next week”, “Lia’s birthday party”
  • Weekly plan – Oskar fits the task into the week: who, when, what is needed
  • Shopping – Oskar turns it into a shopping list sorted by store section
  • Done – whatever arrives here is ticked off

From wish to shopping list

Drag “Lia’s birthday party” to “Weekly plan” and Oskar writes a plan into the task and adds the shopping as subtasks. Then he passes the task on to “Shopping” and sorts the list by produce, chilled, household.

After that the task is back with you, in your inbox. With @Oskar you can follow up in any comment – say, for a vegetarian recipe for six kids.

Shared instead of all in one head

Share the project with your partner or the older kids – to read, comment or edit. You can also share single tasks with people who have no account; they can view and comment via a link. Due dates show up in the calendar, recurring tasks such as “Take out the bins” come back by themselves, and on your phone everything is in the browser.

What Oskar doesn’t do

Oskar plans and writes lists. He doesn’t shop, order or call anyone – he names it and hands the task back. He only sees the task he is working on, its comments and related earlier tasks from your workspace.

How to start

“New project” → “From template” → “Family & home”. The sample tasks wait in “Ideas & wishes”; no agent works there, so nothing starts unasked.

  • Project templates come with Pro
  • For trips and parties there is the “Trip & event” template with Mira

Why we’re building Todowa

Your tasks belong to you – not to your tools.

Tasks are spread across many tools, and none of them sees the whole picture. We’re building Todowa as an AI-first to-do system that fits into the ones you already use: tasks show up in your Notion database, in Asana, in Todoist and in Google Calendar, and AI matches up what belongs together.

Frequently asked questions

Does every family member need an account?

For a shared project, yes – a free account is enough. You can also share single tasks with people without an account: they view and comment via a link.

What does the family organizer cost?

Project templates come with Pro – €6 a month or €60 a year. The free plan needs no credit card.

Can I adapt Oskar?

Yes. Change his character and skills under Settings → AI teammates, and the instructions per lane in the project’s “AI team” – for example “always plan for four people”.
